and some more exciting news...

Thanks to Laura Kroger McCollum, a tour of our high school has been arranged for Saturday Aug. 9th at 2pm. Joe Casmus will meet us at the school and give us the tour, himself. Wow are we special or what!!!! '

And there has been talk among our fellow classmates about going to Skateland (which is now open and right up the road from the Riverview Inn) after the reunion for an adult (drunken) skate.

Start doing your stretches now to avoid any pulled muscles…

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

In Loving Memory of our Classmates and Friends...

Mary Ann Bailey
Jim Borner
Tony Cancel

We offer our prayers and deepest condolences to the family of these classmates.

I'M FREE

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I've now found peace at the end of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
Look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all to brief;
Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now- He set me free

Facebook

Not sure how many of you guys are actually reading this blog, but in an effort to further intra-class of 88 communication, I'm encouraging you to join facebook if you haven't already. Had you joined facebook already you would have known that Shannon Bell Bachman recently had a beautiful baby girl, Maddie Mae, and you would have been already enjoying Steve Ramsdell's comic relief. So what are you waiting for?
